Ehnheration is Now Multiplayer! [The biggest update yet!]
Ehnheration is Now Multiplayer
Hey adventurers, it's Edit. The moment we've been building toward is here—Ehnheration is officially multiplayer. We've got 5 concurrent worlds, each supporting up to 10 players at once. What does that mean? You can chat live, fight alongside friends, trade equipment, skill together, and see it all happen in real time.If you've got a legacy account, you'll need to set a password. Just head to Log In, enter your username and your new password, and you're in. If you ever forget it, you can set up a recovery question in the Options menu (requires password authentication to set). New players, hit Create Account and you're good to go.
The Big Features
Scuttles, The Boss
Chief Screaming Bull has a pest problem he needs help with. Shouldn't be too bad, right? Just a small crab issue, nothing an adventurer can't handle. ... meet Scuttles. Level 269. Just a regular-sized crab. The fight is multi-combat, which means if you bring friends, you can coordinate the assault. If you go solo, you're in for a very fun time.
Player-Owned Shops
The World Bazaar is live. Set up your own shop and trade gold for items. There are two access points to the bazaar (find the green stall icon on your map), and a very friendly NPC there to help you get started. Shops stay open for 8 hours—modify or close them whenever you want. Once they close, you get back unsold items and your earnings. Let me know what you think about the time limit—should it be longer?
New Areas to Explore
- Keeneye Grove — A damp forest south of Everyist
- Mount Shelf — The first elevated terrain, northeast of Angrifowk
- Scuttles' Cave — Home to an angry crab, north of Angrifowk
New Content
Combat:
- Forest Guardians (Combat Level 41) — South of Everyist, wielding Pulsait Swords
- Mountain Nomads and Mountain Scouts (Combat Level 55, 30) — Northeast of Angrifowk, wielding Valvori Spears/Cobalt Spears
- Beefalo (Level 4) — New spot in Angrifowk, full of meat
- More Crabs — New training spot north of Angrifowk
If you want to see them - you'll need to log in!! muahahah!
Gathering & Crafting:
- Trees are now thematically accurate: Elm near shore, Oak/Spruce/Mahogany to the north, Ash/Maple in groves, Pine/Birch everywhere. Keeneye Grove is great for Birch.
- Fishing and Mining spots updated to match their locations [some are still in progress - find Buvant near Forest Guardians, Adamantine North of Everyist, Drakthar at the mountain, and Garnanti in south Everyist.]
- Massive Apothecrafting expansion — You can now make tons of different potions. Check the skill guide in-game for details
- New items: Iron Shavings, Pine Bark, Birch Bark, Raw Beef Heart
Other:
- The First Agility Shortcut — Hop over a broken fence into the Beefalo pen in Angrifowk
- Tom's Bell — Tiny Tom finally saved up enough to get a bell for the church. You'll hear it sometimes if you're in town. He also fixed his podium, so he can finally give his speeches (though not many people show up)
Multiplayer Systems
Item Drops:
- Regular drops: 60 seconds private (only the dropper sees them), then 60 seconds public, then despawn
- NPC drops: Vary, but same general rule—privately to whoever did the most damage
- Death drops: Same as regular, except bosses may have adjusted timers
AFK & Sessions:
- 10 minutes with no action = automatic logout (timer resets with any action)
- 6 hour session limit (only resets by logging back in or restarting)
Quality of Life & Technical
Gameplay:
- Significant update to Tutorial Island—less verbose, fewer requirements (you only need to cook one fish now), and skippable sections if you already know what you're doing
- Dialogue can now give XP directly
- Corner-cutting pathing bug fixed
- Slight delay added to map opening/closing (prevents accidental clicks, better balance)
- Screen resolution detection improved—no more soft locks from inventory/drag issues
- Various bank UI improvements and bug fixes (too many to count)
Password Security:
- Passwords and recovery questions are hashed, salted, and secured with an API key
